IC
Name: Carlotta Marjorie Pinkstone
Age/Birthdate: August 11, 1925
Blood Status: Muggleborn
PB: Sarah Drew
Canon Info: Pro-Muggle activist

House/Year: Gryffindor, 7th
School Activities: Duelling Club, Home Front Support League, & Mock Wizengamot
Classes: DADA, Transfiguration, & Charms

History:
→ Born to Oxford English Literature professor, Robert Pinkstone, and Mary Pinkstone, formerly Kemp, a local historian and academic in her own right, Carlotta had a remarkably privileged upbringing in the ivory halls of the ivory tower. Even after the severe economic decline, the Pinkstones were able to live in a moderate to high standard.

→ Carlotta's first magical abilities showed themselves barely a year after she was born through her summoning particular stuffed animals to her side. While her parents were consistently puzzled by the sudden shifts of her toys from positions where they thought they'd left them, they tended think that it was nothing more than their own minds merely forgetting where they'd left them last.

→ Having revealed magical talent early in her life, she spent much of her childhood coping with the various unexplained events which happened around her, particularly when she lost her rather substantial temper. She managed to get in trouble several times over the years for the more understandable issues, even without concrete evidence of her responsibility for it, but there were plenty of things that just couldn't be blamed on anyone because they were too bizarre.

→ On her eleventh birthday, a witch from the Ministry arrived to their house to tell her about her magical abilities and give her her Hogwarts letter. Her parents were stunned by the news and refused to believe what they were being told until the Ministry witch gave them a demonstration. Baffled and bewildered, they reluctantly accepted the idea that their daughter might be capable of something that seemed impossible to them. While they didn't exactly care for the idea of her going to an institution that they knew nothing about and her education going in a direction that they couldn't control, but she could always study proper subjects during the summer months. They agreed to allow her to attend Hogwarts with the hope that maybe in a few years, she would be able to explain to them exactly what she was learning.

→ Carlotta was sorted into Gryffindor without a hint of hesitation upon arriving at Hogwarts, and she settled quickly into the boarding school environment. She made more than a bit of difficulty, though, her first few years by constantly asking why they weren't learning math or geography or pretty much anything that would actually be useful outside of magic. These questions ended up getting her taunted quite a bit.

→ Carlotta also didn't quite get the whole point of not being able to tell anyone about being a witch. She had many Ministry people trying to explain the Statute of Secrecy to her during her first few years at Hogwarts after having to obliviate half the kids in her neighborhood several times.

→ Her father enlisted to serve in the RAF not long after war was declared, falling just under the age restrictions, and Carlotta has lived in constant fear that her father isn't going to return to them.

→ Horribly strained lately by the utter disinterest that most witches and wizards have in the war and particularly enraged by those who seem perfectly at ease (or, disgustingly, delighted) with all of the muggles who are dying, Carlotta is finding it harder and harder to hold her tongue and her temper in the face of those who apparently have no concern for their fellow human beings.

→ She's already stood trial once, last summer, for performing magic in front of muggles after she transfigured a rampaging dog on the Oxford campus into a duvet. While it required a dozen different Obliviators and two of the Ministry's best muggle excuse people in order to clean up the mess, she was acquitted because the action had protected the safety of the muggles in the vicinity.

Personality: Carlotta is the product of having two parents who were both in the position to and weren't afraid to voice their opinions. A mixture of privilege and pride that has put her into the position of never worrying if what she has to say is popular or not and has also left him believing that what she thinks she pretty definitively in the right. She doesn't see shades of grey in situations. There is right and wrong and nothing more than that, and she isn't going to let anyone tell her any differently.

Bold and without reserve, she's determined to correct every injustice that she sees within the wizarding world, no matter how long it will take or what it might take, and she intends on starting with the divide between the wizard and muggle worlds. She's never truly understood why the wizarding world decided to mask itself, and she thinks that it's positively selfish on them to keep all of this power to themselves. But she doesn't see there ever being a better time for them to reveal themselves. The muggle world, especially the British Empire, need assistance in the war effort badly, and a few dozen wizards on the front lines would make all of the difference. If it takes her making a stand herself, she wants everyone to actually consider that potential.

Ideas for plot: Since this is a PSL, please help suggest a few game-wide plots.
